About The Teacher

  • After earning my degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University, I began my teaching career in Pennsylvania as a Basic Skills Instructor. I married and moved to New Jersey, where I earned a Teacher of the Handicapped Certification from William Paterson University. For seven years I enjoyed teaching third grade at Mountview Road School before having children of my own. I then returned to teach Special Education at our middle school and BMS before moving onto first grade. My children are Emma (Senior at WPHS), Sam (Freshman at WPHS) and Liam (sixth grader at MJS). My own family and our school family keep me happily busy. In my free time I enjoy cooking, watching my kids play sports, entertaining and exploring oceans and lakes. I look forward to amazing adventures with all of the Grade "One-derful" Superkids!
